Sabanci University Istanbul
Sabancı University established in 1996 that was after convening a research conference by the Sabancı institution. Over 50 academicians from 22 countries attended the conference, in addition to students and representatives of the private sector.
During the conference, they discussed how the leading educational institutions in Turkey manage their work and which methodologies they follow. After the conference, Sabancı institution decided in 1994 to establish the University to become a global University in the center of Istanbul.
Sabancı University includes three faculties with 13-bachelor program, 46 master’s program and 15 for the Ph.D.
Sabancı University will enhance its leading and dynamic position in innovative education and research with transformative impact on science and society.
By following innovative approaches, Sabancı University encourage people to advance their self-confidence and strengthen their knowledge in different majors like humanities, natural sciences and engineering, social and management sciences.
• It is one of the top 700 Universities in the world and one of the top Universities in Turkey.
• The official language for all the University majors is English
• It includes sports center with main hall which enables students play basketball and volleyball. Besides the three squash courts, there are also fitness studios and table tennis areas.
• It includes many of the laboratories for different majors like chemistry and physics. In addition to the computer labs and research centers.
