What is AI ? and when is it started? 

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind, such as learning and problem-solving “as per investopedia ”
In other words, it is about making a machine that can think and introduce solutions whenever needed. Humankind moves very fast towards space, the deepest part of the earth and the smallest part of the materials.
(AI) Artificial Intelligence started in the last 50 years of the last century, where it was limited in simulation human thinking, like the chess computer player and other activities. Since then humankind starts to deploy machine and limited artificial intelligence where ever the process is risky for humans or need more accuracy or even to reduce the expenses.
Universities worldwide start to offer undergraduate studies in AI- Artificial Intelligence in 2018-2019, and since then, many universities start to offer AI undergraduate degrees.

What’s under the hood?

AI Artificial intelligence plays a core role in exploring space, ensuring future astronauts’ safety and performance on Mars. AI is a crucial player in Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover or The Emirates Mars Mission “Hope Probe” or other space programs. AI will help humans to establish permanent colonies on Mars and beyond.
Not only in space, but AI is also an efficient and critical player in enabling humans to explore the deep of our planet, Artificial intelligence speed up the exploration and studies deep-sea ecosystems. And in understanding the behavior of our planet.
Not limited but another aspect of AI impact is that Nanotechnology and robotics supported with AI are becoming the Frontier in understanding the latest viruses and pandemic like Covid-19 in addition to other severe illness like cancer.

What the future will look like with the AI

The entertainment future will look like you could watch a customized movie featuring your choice’s virtual actors. Doctors and hospitals will analyze data and customize their health care to each patient’s genes, environment, and lifestyle. Our cybersecurity will be much safer than ever as AI-based tools patterns will prevent hackers from stealing information or cause havoc. In addition to all other life aspects of smart homes, smart cars,… etc, AI will surprise us in predicting human beings’ needs and creating and manufacturing those needs.

Where can I study AI in Turkey? 

Turkish universities, like other world universities, start offering bachelor’s degrees in AI. Nowadays, six universities in Turkey offer this program.

What are the requirements to study AI? 

The requirements for the applying to AI undergraduate program are:

• Passport copy
• Photograph
• High school certificate ( if not yet finish G12) could be provided later upon registration in September.
• Any international exam results if exist ( like SAT, IB, etc.)
• 2 Recommendation letters
• Intention letter
